At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, food delivery saw significant growth as more people needed a way to safely get food and groceries delivered to their homes. This global food delivery app partnered with Koddi to monetize its increasing app traffic and generate additional value for its thousands of partner businesses by creating a new sponsored listings advertising program.

Approach

With over 11 years of experience managing global ad programs, Koddi leveraged its expertise to build a white-label ad platform tailored to the specific needs of the food delivery market for this client. Utilizing Koddi’s APIs to build into its existing vendor platform, and Koddi’s expert advisory team to develop greater flexibility through the development of custom integrations for billing processes, data feeds, and other publisher-specific features, this innovative approach allowed our client to rapidly scale the program to over 180,000 individual advertisers with quality performance throughout.

Results

The combination of Koddi Ads’ ad technology and full-service customer support enabled our client to scale its new advertising program at a remarkable rate, onboarding tens of thousands of advertisers and achieving tens of millions of dollars in ad spend in the first year. The sponsored listings ad unit delivered a highly-relevant and convenient ad experience to in-market users of the app. Koddi’s bid automation, targeting, and auction technology propelled the program to a significant ROAS and volume to advertisers in the program.
