As of today we’re seeing a new front end test live in Hotel Finder that includes brand logos: Also of significance here:
- the ad button has been changed from the hotel name + rate to the new red button “BOOK” and gray button “Book” experience above,
- there is a new dropdown select box for the number of adults,
- the nightly rate is more prominently displayed, and
- the “more” (slot M) dropdown has been completely removed.
So far from what we can tell this is a limited experiment. Even if all of these changes don’t make the final cut, it is exciting to see the folks on Google are continuing to refine this experience for users and advertisers. Anyone seeing other variations on these elements?
