Last week, Koddi employees from Fort Worth, Ann Arbor, New York, Austin, San Francisco, Düsseldorf, and remote locations gathered together in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado for the second annual Koddi Offsite.

Since last year’s offsite in Hilton Head, the Koddi team has grown by more than 40 people. For many new employees, it was their first time meeting all of their colleagues from across the globe in person. It was incredible to see how much the company has grown and how much fun everyone had connecting, making new friends, and getting to know each other better. While Slack and video conferences keep us in touch across our multiple offices, there’s nothing quite like the synergy and connection that comes from face-to-face time.

We spent three days at the beautiful Keystone Resort, which gave us access to activities like hiking, golf, tennis, yoga, and even snow tubing.

The agenda for the week balanced scheduled activities and free time. In the mornings, our leadership team gave presentations about what we have achieved in the past year and the vision for Koddi’s future. At night, we celebrated together at themed happy hours, including a company luau and a casino night. Lastly, we had free time to explore the mountains and participate in a dynamic team building event that emphasized Koddi’s five core values:

Our offsite events prove that travel truly does bring people together! We left exhausted, sunburnt, short of breath, and happy. With a lot of new memories and more connected than ever, all of us returned to work inspired and excited for what’s to come over the next year!
